I am the editor of and a member of the My TN Outdoors Pro Staff. As an ex-Green Beret in the 7th Special
Forces Group and combat veteran I am now a smallmouth fanatic and fishing guide in East Tennessee.
After the military I settled here in east TN and have enjoyed the great outdoors. Hunting and fishing have
consumed my everyday activities. If I’m not in the forest or on the water I am working with organizations to
help conserve and preserve what God has given us. I am also a board member of the Upper Nolichucky
Watershed Alliance and a Master Naturalist. I created this website to give the outdoorsmen and women
of the great state of Tennessee a place to come together and meet, share information and most of all
learn more of the sport we hold nearest to our heart. I hope to share many of my personal experiences,
good and bad, and other stories and exciting adventures of others across this state. We can all call this

one of the most elite and knowledgeable trout Guides. He guides with fly rod in
hand in the waters of the South Holston River and Watauga River in East TN. With
